I signed up for this photographer's retreat months and months ago, not even knowing how worn out I would be at this point in November. It turned out to be a great decision. I saw a few dear friends, and made a few new treasured acquaintances. We were at a warm old cabin in the forests of Kentucky, hosted by a wonderfully friendly family and staff. We slept in, ate country cookin, took a few pictures, but only if we wanted to. It was a great time, and I feel measurably refreshed. Here's a peek...
The Eight of us, from left to right, top row first: Huy, Jonathan, Gulnara, Matt, Henry, me, Tina, Laura
Laura Olson surprised us all by wading into the freezing creek- Henry and Jonathan shooting her. Looks like hunting to me.
I've got a serious thing for moss, and the whole place was blanketed with it. beautiful.
Gulnara became my muse for the first day
Jonathan McBride took this one of me.
Another Jon McBride
my girl Tina Carter and her skirt- the skirt that embodies her :)
